The owner of I-90 Motorsports (at least he was in 1999, has since sold the dealership) in Issaquah, WA., bought this bike brand new. He kept it as his own personal bike until Spring, 2005. He then sold it to a private collector here in WA state.

Owner #1 barely rode the bike during the 6 years he owned it. The 2nd owner did not ride it at all. Currently, the odometer shows 963 kilometers which converts to 597 miles.

Yes the bike has had the crankshaft replaced courtesy the Yamaha factory. That was carried out at I-90 Motorsports in late 1999/early 2000.

Included but not installed on the bike are a Yamaha race kit wiring loom, fuel pump/regulator and various other small race kit items. Service/owner's manual, race kit manual, parts microfiche catalogue all come with the bike as well.

Stock R7 mirrors, turn signals, tailight, etc., were all ordered from Japan and are included. The bike does have braided steel front brake lines but is stock otherwise. The stock front lines are not included.

I suppose there is probably a new, never ridden example of this machine hiding somewhere in the US. Short of that one, if it exists, this must be the lowest mileage, cleanest R7 available in the country today.

The bike is titled in WA state as off road use only. My guess is with enough determination one could get a plate for this machine but I cannot guarantee that.
